Comment: As the beach development is still "on hold" - why don't the owners make a nice public gesture and allow parking again on the beach. They claim Health and Safety rules mean they can't allow pedestrians and vehicles to mix on the only access road - but we managed like that for decades without any problems.

Comment: What a brilliant and informative website and campaign. I visited the beach a few times when the building were derelict. I know the venue was much loved in the past. by the rave scene amongst others. I have now learnt it was also a place of rare moths and other wildlife. We have very similar problems with excessive building in Newquay. I'm thoroughly inspired by the passions and efforts of the residents to protect their natural and community assets.

Comment: Glaringly obvious that 'they' wanted a gated resort here - the new duties on second homes have put everything out of gear. I've watched this for about 20 plus years - if there's a start to 'proper' construction in the next twenty, I shall be amazed.
